Site Icon (favicon) is the small image displayed in browser tabs, when the website is opened.

How to choose the favicon

To choose site favicon, it's recommended to use the built-in WordPress features (WordPress Customizer). This is done at WP admin -> Appearance -> Customize -> Site Identity.
