Google Map custom WPBakery Page Builder element, added by Loyde, renders a map generated by Google Maps JavaScript API. Requires the unique API key, obtained from Google Cloud Platform Console.

How to enter the coordinates, which represent the center of the map

Steps:

  1. Add a Google Map instance to the edited page or post
  2. Open the Settings for the added element
  3. Under the "General" tab, enter values under "Map Center: Latitude" and "Map Center: Longitude"
  4. Save changes.

Note: These coordinates are used to define the center of the map. This location will not appear on the map.

How to display multiple locations on the map

When multiple locations have been entered, it's possible to display them as:

  • Markers (i.e. each one separaetlly)
  • Shape (i.e. a region)

Steps:

  1. Add a Google Map instance to the edited page or post
  2. Open the Settings for the added element
  3. Under the "General" tab, enter coordinates
  4. Click "Show more settings"
  5. Under "Locations on Map" enter three or more locations
  6. Under "Locations Drawing Mode" select "Markers" or "Shape"
  7. Save changes.
