Dynamic Custom WPBakery Elements

Dynamic Post Fields

The purpose of these WPBakery Page Builder elements to dynamically load the selected piece of information for the currently viewed post. These elements include:

  • Blog Post Dynamic Field
  • CPT Post Dynamic Field

Blog Post Dynamic Field

Blog Post Dynamic Field can be used only for blog posts.

Offered target values:

The "Values" setting lists values specific to blog posts. So, some of the values it can dynamically load and display during rendering are:

  • Excerpt
  • Post content
  • Author name
  • Post date
  • Categories
  • Tags
  • etc.

Settings

Here are some of the more specific settings:

  1. Target Field: Choose which post field to render
  2. Field Value Tag: Which HTML tag to use during rendering, to enclose the target value
  3. Special Text Role: Possibility to designate a specific purpose of this text when rendered on page (e.g. a subheading or an intro text). As a result, it will get the coresponding predefined styles.

CPT Post Dynamic Field

CPT Post Dynamic Field can be used only for custom post types added by Loyde theme. So, some of the values it can dynamically load and display during rendering are:

  • Excerpt
  • Post content
  • Author name
  • Post date
  • Categories
  • Tags
  • etc.

Settings

Most of the settings are shared with Blog Post Dynamic Field. But there is an additional field:

  • Custom Post Type: Choose the target custom post type.

Depending to the selected target CPT, field "Values" loads and lists values specific to the selected CPT.

Case Studies

Offered values for Case Studies:

  • Post Content
  • Excerpt
  • Industries
  • Services
  • Project info (starting date, completion date, duration, project URL, ...)
  • Project manager info (name, job title, image, phone, ...)
  • Client testimonial info (name, rating, quote, ...)
  • etc.

Team Members

Offered values for Team Members:

  • Name
  • Job title
  • Office location
  • Excerpt
  • Social Links
  • CV link
  • etc.

Events

Offered values for Events:

  • Start date
  • End date
  • Location
  • Venue name
  • Related events
  • etc.
